Take Charge of Your Health

Primary prevention and early detection is the best safeguard against illness. It has been proven that health screening is effective in detecting silent killers such as diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, cancers, as well as kidney and liver disorders, for which there are often no noticeable symptoms.

Early detection allows for early treatment, which may reduce the possibility of further complications and significantly reduce the overall cost of treatment.

What It Involves

Health screening varies according to individual needs and medical histories. It typically involves blood, urine and stool tests, and other procedures like X-rays, ultrasound scans and electrocardiograms. According to the package selected, a doctor may also record and review your medical history and conduct a physical examination.

Once all the tests are completed, the results will be consolidated into a personal health screening report which you can take home. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled with the doctor to review the findings and provide you with the necessary medical advice.

Customised Executive Health Screening Packages

At Mount Alvernia, executive screening is conducted in a cozy environment, with a light complimentary breakfast and personalised care from our friendly and professional staff.

A wide range of comprehensive screening packages is available to cater to different needs. Packages start from $350 (excluding GST) and optional tests may be added on. Our staff and doctors can advise you on your package selection.

Focused 'Lean Screen' Packages

To complement the range of standard Executive packages and offer more health screening options, we have introduced six 'Lean Screens’ that provide the most essential health screening tests to assess a person's well-being. These are focused around essential blood analysis (cholesterol, glucose & uric acid) conducted at our phlebotomy lab, with a later visit for ECG heart check and consultation with a doctor. Add-on optional tests are also available. These packages are available Monday-Friday at off-peak slots, and do not include breakfast.

Tailored Corporate Packages

We also offer customised packages for Corporate Clients according to their budget. Such packages may combine Executive health screening at Mount Alvernia’s Health Screening Centre for selected staff with on-site blood-taking and basic tests at your company’s premises for other staff. We also provide on-site consultation and presentation on healthy living by our doctors and/or dieticians. Please contact our centre at 6347-6215 for further information.
