laparoscopic surgery to neuro-surgery. We provide nearly every type of surgery

Cardiac Surgery
Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) is often performed on people who have chest
pains and coronary artery disease. During the surgery, a bypass is created by
grafting a piece of a vein above and below the blocked area of a coronary artery,
enabling blood to flow around the obstruction. Veins are usually taken from
the leg, but arteries or veins from other parts of your body may also be used
to create a bypass graft.
Besides CABG, other types of open heart surgeries that are
done at Mount Alvernia are:
• All types of Heart Valve Repair and Replacement
• Surgery for Atrial Fibrillation (Arrhythmic Surgery)
• Surgery for Heart Failure
• Open Thoracic Aortic Surgery and Endovascular Aortic Stenting
• Minimally Access Thoracic and Heart Surgery
• Congenital Heart Surgery
• Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Support (ECMO)
• Endoscopic Harvesting of Saphenous Vein and Radial Artery
