Day surgery is an option that is becoming more and more popular with patients today. Increasingly, more surgeries are performed on an outpatient basis, which reduces the need for inpatient hospitalisation and results in associated cost savings.

At Mount Alvernia Hospital, our Day Surgery Centre offers one-stop convenience and comfort to patients. Registration, preparation for surgery, recovery, discharge are all carried out at the same place and all on the same day.

Our Day Surgery Centre has 23 recovery beds, the quality of surgical and nursing care provided at our Day Surgery Centre is the same as that given to our hospitalised inpatients.
