Care Unit
Our Critical Care Unit (CCU) comprises
a 9 bedded multidisciplinary unit. Located strategically on the same level as
the Operating Theatre, the Unit is manned on a high nurse-to-patient ratio with
specialised medical personnel offering 24-hours continuous monitoring.
The CCU is well equipped with the latest ICU technology to
provide optimal support for acute surgical procedures and medical cases. Dedicated
to service excellence, the nurses are committed, compassionate and competent
in providing a holistic approach towards patient care.
Visiting hours are from 10am to 12 noon, 4pm to 8.30pm. Only
adult immediate family members are allowed. Please note that flowers and fruit
baskets are not allowed in the CCU.
The High Dependency Unit (HDU) for Adults is for patients who
do not require mechanical ventilatory support and are relatively stable, but
still need close observation.
The High Dependency Unit (HDU) for Paediatrics provides care
for children requiring close observation and intensive treatment.
The Telemetry system is an extension of the CCU. It allows
the patient to be in the general ward and be ambulatory while he is monitored
24-hours a day by the CCU staff.
